Cute Date Idea: Painting Pumpkins

Happy Spooky Season! Even if we can’t celebrate Halloween in person this year, we can take solace in the fact that going all out on decorating is never cancelled.

We need autumn more than ever this year. The soothing jewel tones of leaves on the trees, the crisp breeze in the air, the promise of a relaxing, quiet winter. It’s a salve for the soul.

So, gosh darn it, go out and buy a pumpkin. It’s 2020. DO IT. Buy the pumpkin and proudly display it on October 1st. We’re not stopping you.

Warning: The purchase of one pumpkin may cause pumpkins to multiply.

For an added bit of sprucing, paint your pumpkins with acrylic paint. It’s less messy than carving, and the results are adorable.

You can make them as macabre as you like.

Or as cute as you like:

Let the wine (or apple cider) flow freely and have yourself a cute, spooky date night that’s perfect for autumn.
