A matte or cream finish?
Although its advertised as a matte lipstick, MAC Viva Glam VG26 applies smoothly and feels comfortable on the lips. It’s very balmy.
I’d actually classify VG26 as a cream-finish, so use a lip liner to avoid bleeding outside the lip line. (And watch out for it bleeding on to your teeth, too.)
Best for neutral-warm undertones
This lipstick is moderately warm toned — there’s a LOT of orange and peach going on beneath the surface. It’s a classic red but it might clash/overpower you if you’ve got a cool, blue-toned complexion.
Best paired with
MAC Viva Glam VG26 is a knockout and can stand out on its own. Try going for a powerful eyebrow and light eye makeup (like Stila’s Glitter and Glow eyeshadow stick in Kitten, seen above) to keep the look balanced.
