Do You Want To Smell Like Seoul, Amsterdam or Miami?

Happy September! Le Labo’s City Exclusives event is on now through the 30th, so don’t miss out on nabbing these worldly fragrances.

Le Labo’s Santal 33 is the de facto scent of New York City — for awhile there, the figgy, musky unisex scent was everywhere, inspiring countless thinkpieces and even larger number of dupes. For all its ubiquity, it was dubbed the official scent of the 2010s.

But there’s a whole world of scents by Le Labo, literally. Le Labo has an extensive series of “city exclusive” scents that are only available to purchase in that specific city. That is, until September. Once a year, the perfumery puts all of its city exclusive scents up for sale for a precious thirty days.

But be warned, these fragrances command a hefty price tag. If you’re not keen on dishing out $154 for 15 ml of product, you can buy a sampler set for $70 that’ll have you sniffing the whole darn world.

Some of the cities on offer:

Seoul – Citron 28

Tokyo – Gaiac 10

Hard and heavy. Notes of wood, musk and incense.

Paris – Vanille 44

Sensual and intoxicating. Notes of vanilla, amber, incense and bourbon.

Miami – Tabac 28

Masculine and heady and not for the faint of heart. This one supposedly smells like a Havana cigar distilled into a fragrance. Notes of tobacco absolute, gaiac wood and rum.

Amsterdam – Mousse de Chene 30

We googled it so you didn’t have to. “Mousse de chene” is French for “oak moss,” and this chypre fragrance is supposed to combine elements of traditional and progressive, just like its namesake city. Notes of moss, patchouli, cinnamon and pink pepper.
